Sand X® is the provider of green completions to the Permian and Delaware basins. Our Sand X and Super Loop® equipment are a sustainable alternative to traditional completion equipment, offering an environmentally friendly option for sand removal and gas separation during the completions process. This green completions system offers a safer, more economical sand disposal process that significantly reduces hazardous waste, with better disposal of returned sand.
Sand X has paved the way for green completions and Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) solutions in the oil & gas industry, by bringing to market an innovative process for sand removal during drill out and flowback. Our standalone system uses eco-friendly technology to separate sand, oil, produced water, condensates, and dangerous gases. Then, the sand is clean and safe for other uses while the produced water can be safely recirculated, providing operators greater environmental compliance, a safer well site, and overall cost savings compared to traditional methods.
The Sand X features a reliable, double auger system for long drill outs. This eliminates downtime, and allows the Sand X system to increase the volume of flowback processed, even during frac screen outs. The Sand X also minimizes the costs associated with cleanout for frac tanks or open top tanks.
The Super Loop is a unique gas separation unit that busts gas from flowback into a managed low-pressure environment. This reduces the emission of raw gaseous hydrocarbons into the atmosphere to promote well site safety. When used with the Sand X, the Super Loop ensures that gases are contained, removed, and flared to a safe location on the well pad. The Super Loop collects and delivers solid and fluid material, minus gases, to the Sand X.
